- What is a prosthodontist?
Answer: Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry pertaining to the restoration and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance, and health of the patient by the restoration of natural and/or the replacement of missing teeth and contiguous oral and maxillofacial tissues with artificial substitutes. Fixed Prosthodontics deals with substitutes which are not readily removed from the mouth, while Removable Prosthodontics deals with substitutes that are removable from the mouth. Implant Prosthodontics is the phase of prosthodontics concerning the replacement of teeth and/or associated structures by restorations attached to the dental implants.

Answer: Extractions, root canal therapy, and placement of implants
- What is the difference between a cap and a crown?
Answer: They are the same
- What insurance plans do you accept?
Answer: We will file ANY insurance policy, but we are not on any provider lists
- What payment/financing options are available?
Answer: We accept all major credit cards and personal checks. Financing is also available through any of the following companies:
- Dental Fee Plan -- 3, 6, 12 months interest free
- Care Credit - 3, 6, 12 months interest free
- Citigroup - 3, 6, 12 & 18 months interest free
We DO NOT accept Medicare or Medicaid.

Answer: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Can you explain the Nicholasville Road lane changes?
Answer: Due to the heavy rush hour traffic, the lanes on Nicholasville Road change in the mornings from 6:30 to 9:00 a.m. (three lanes in), and again in the evenings from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (three lanes out). Above each lane there are signals that are directing the traffic.
- The GREEN ARROW indicates to proceed
forward (correct lane)
- The RED X indicates opposing traffic
(wrong lane)
- The WHITE TURNING ARROW indicates
the turning lane
If you plan your trip so that you turn from Nicholasville Road right into Doctors Park, and again turn right on Nicholasville Road when leaving our office, you will not need to cross traffic. Here is a diagram that may help make the lane changes clear:
